The Art of Reading is a monthly book club hosted by Colm Tóibín, the Laureate for Irish Fiction - watch the latest installment above.
Each month, the Laureate meets a different library book club to discuss a book by an Irish writer, highlighting outstanding Irish writing and celebrating the reader and book clubs.
The selected titles celebrate new work by contemporary Irish writers - the latest episode features Colm in conversation with Kevin Power about his second novel, White City.
The book has been described by the Irish Times as "Power’s unforgettable creation".

Kevin Power is the author of two novels, Bad Day in Blackrock (2008) and White City (2021). He is the winner of the 2009 Rooney Prize for Irish Literature.
