Andrew Scott is a familiar face these days on our TV screens, whether it's as the hot priest in Fleabag or the dastardly Moriarty in Sherlock.
He’s proved his range too on the London stage – from Shakespearean tragedy to the bittersweet comedy of Noel Coward.
Now he takes on Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in a new adaptation with a new title Vanya that sees him play every role himself.
The production reunites him with playwright Simon Stephens and director Sam Yates, and it opened last week in London’s West End.
Writer Eimear McBride reviews the production for RTÉ Arena above.
