Tune Of The Week: The Only One by The Pigeon Millers

This week's Tune Of The Week is The Only One by The Pigeon Millers, taken from their new album The Onlooker's Redemption - watch the lyric video above.

The Pigeon Millers are a quartet of songwriters & multi-instrumentalists, with lead singer Doug Sheridan joined by Paddy Lyons (guitar), Ed Kelly (drums) & Steve Walker (bass).

Only Ones: The Pigeon Millers

Sheridan explains what inspired the The Only One: "The song is an ode to people who drift in and out of our lives. I was thinking of someone who helped me through a very tough time. They didn't offer advice or try to fix my problems. They were just there anytime I wanted to drown my sorrows in the pub. And that was important in itself. It wasn't a friendship built to last a lifetime but it was just what I needed at that time and I'm so grateful to that person. They'll probably never know that".
