Meath's thriving culture and identity will be explored on RTÉ Radio 1's The County Measure this August.
Join writer and broadcaster Vincent Woods as he uncovers the vibrant arts, sports, history, heritage and diverse communities of Co. Meath.

From the seaside breeze of Bettystown, the hallowed sport of hammer throwing in Athboy, to the atmospheric agricultural show in Oldcastle, Vincent takes a measure of all that the "Royal County" has to offer.
The programme will include a new and exclusive piece of writing by Belinda McKeon, author of acclaimed novels Solace and Tender.

The County Measure is a landmark RTÉ Radio 1 series that explores the identity and communities of Ireland's 32 counties.
The County Measure: Meath will be broadcast on Sunday August 13th at 10am on RTÉ Radio 1.The series previously visited several counties including Louth, Roscommon, Tyrone and Westmeath. You can listen back to the series here.
