FESTIVAL: KILKENNY ARTS FESTIVAL
Celebrating 50 years of dreams and discoveries in Ireland's Medieval City, this year's formidable KAF line-up includes everything from Architects of Air and their mesmerizing luminarium and an immersive soap opera entitled The Local to an eclectic music programme featuring artist-in-residence Martin Hayes, the Irish Chamber Orchestra alongside Philip Selway of Radiohead and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra with actor Ciaran Hinds, tackling Seamus Heaney's Sweeney (Various venues, 10th - 20th August)
