It's a Fine Thing to Sing: Songs and Singers of the Inishowen Peninsula is the new documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Bob Gallagher - watch an exclusive clip above, ahead of its premiere at this year's Galway Film Fleadh.

When singers Ian Lynch (Lankum), Ye Vagabonds and The Henry Girls are invited to create their own interpretations of songs from the Inishowen Song Project, the audience is invited into a vast collection of local singers and songs, documented over 40 years from within the community itself.

Commissioned by the Inishowen Traditional Singers Circle, the will premiere at the Fleadh on Saturday 15 July - the screening will be followed by a Q&A with Bob Gallagher and members of the ITSC in the cinema, and a singing session at 5:30 pm in the Róisín Dubh, Galway - find out more here.
