Kicking off on Friday, June 23rd, RTÉ lyric fm's Paul Herriott will host a series of live concerts from the West Cork Chamber Music Festival 2023 - the festival features some of the best Irish and International artists who will be performing in the idyllic settings of the library of Bantry House and the stage of St. Brendan's Church in Bantry.
Violinist Alina Ibragimova returns to West Cork, performing Schumann continuing her longstanding partnership with pianist Cédric Tiberghien, while celebrated Irish violinist Mairéad Hickey performs one of the foremost women composers of the 20th Century, Grażyna Bacewicz.

The future of chamber music is in safe hands with the Armida Quartet, returning to the festival again with music by American composer Jack Heggie. Central figures of Ukranian music also feature strongly in lyric's concert broadcasts, with music by composers Lysenko and Silvestrov.
Up to 50 million listeners across the European Broadcasting Union will join RTÉ lyric fm for live broadcasts this year, reaching as far as Spain to Serbia and Germany to Greece.
