Inequality, division and global warming are some of the themes that artist Rita Duffy explores in her new exhibition, Persistent Illusion, now showing at Crawford Art Gallery in Cork city - she talked to RTÉ Arena above.
For Persistent Illusion, Duffy presents a trilogy of new, largescale works that address urgent themes of planetary crisis and political chaos.
This triptych of works has its genesis in Duffy's series of small, satirical drawings, The Emperor has No Clothes (2020), which was recently acquired by Crawford Art Gallery for the National Collection.

Persistent Illusion is at Crawford Art Gallery until 8th October 2023 - find out more here, and listen to more from RTÉ Arena here.
