Meet the Tree Whisperer :RTÉ Arena on a theatrical walkabout

The Tree Whisperer is an play with a difference - the Bewley's Café Theatre production will be performed outdoors at the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin this June.

Written and directed by qualified horticulturist (!) Matthew Ralli, and starring Gene Rooney and Pat Ryan, the title character of the play is a druid, an expert in woody plants and possibly Ireland's only true tree whisperer. When a man desperate to reveal the meaning of an old riddle contacts her, will she be able to help him discover the whereabouts of an important family heirloom? Can she really commune with trees? And is he everything he seems?
