EVENT: Arts & Minds
Acclaimed Indian novelist Deepti Kapoor makes her first trip to Ireland for Maynooth University's Arts & Minds Festival - other events include a performance by Irish Folk Award-winning duo Ye Vagabonds, Irish National Opera in Concert with soprano Anna Devin, mezzo-soprano Sharon Carthy, bass-baritone Gianluca Margheri, and pianist Finghin Collins, and a Literary Lounge programme that includes readings by author Nicole Flattery plus poets Seán Hewitt and Lauren Lawler, and an Irish-language interdisciplinary arts event in honour of the famous Lament for Art O'Leary - find out more here (Various venues across the Maynooth College campus, May 3rd - 6th)
