Fresh Film is a film organisation for young filmmakers aged 7-18. It inspires, nurtures and celebrates excellence in young people's filmmaking.
Created by Fresh Film in partnership with RTÉ, the Arts Council and Screen Ireland, the aim of the Hothouse project is to support and promote the next generation of filmmakers by giving young independent makers a safe creative space in which to develop ideas and projects - find out more here.
The filmmaking work of young people aged 7 to 18 years from Ireland and across the world will be celebrated at Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards 2023, which will be broadcast on RTÉ2 on Wednesday April 12 from 7pm - the awards will also be available to view on the RTÉ Player.
