Dream on - indie music veteran Craig Walker returns with his new band

Craig Walker is best known to Irish music fans as the front man of the iconic Dublin band, Power of Dreams, who rose to fame in the early 1990s, when Craig signed to Polydor records at the age of just 18. He talks to Sean Rocks on RTÉ Arena above.

In the intervening years, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists and experimented with an equally wide range of musical genres. In fact, the last time he was on RTÉ Arena, it was as part of the duo, Them There, who's single, Fade Out Lines, became a Europe-wide electronic dance hit, and wound up on a personal playlist of a certain Barack Obama.

Now Walker is back with his latest collaboration, and a new album, Craig Walker and the Cold. The 'Cold' in question is the stage name of Canadian producer and songwriter, Erik Alcock, himself no stranger to collaboration, having worked with artists like Eminem and Pink.

Tune into RTÉ Arena live nightly from Mon-Fri on RTÉ Radio 1 from 7 pm - or listen back here.
