Fragments - Time Out Of Mind Sessions (1996-1997): The Bootleg Series Vol 17 takes a deep dive into the Dylan archives surrounding his classic 1997 album Time Out Of Mind, offering a 2022 remix of the record alongside previously unreleased recordings, studio outtakes and live performances from the era.

Uncut: 'No one thought that Dylan would make one of his finest albums in 1997 (or maintain that hot streak for the next quarter-century). No one thought, either, that the outtakes from such sessions could fill a compelling, sometimes revelatory box set. But here it is'.

However, with the benefit of the new remix and a whole bunch of outtakes and alternate takes contained throughout Fragments, we are now able to view this album in a completely new light. Whilst I appreciate there will be a wide range of views on this from within the Dylan community, from a personal perspective, all of this has cemented my view of Time Out Of Mind as one of the greatest albums Dylan has ever released. We can only wonder what other great riches sit within Dylan’s vaults to be uncovered through future releases in the Bootleg Series'.
