The cast of the Gate Theatre production of Piaf didn't hesitate when a recent performance of the sold out show was unexpectedly interrupted by a fire alarm - they took the party to the streets outside the venue.
A clip, posted on Twitter by theatremaker and Gate Theatre board member Jo Mangan, sees the cast treating the audience and assorted passers-by to an impromptu sing-song by the entrance to the Garden Of Remembrance on Parnell Square, up the road from The Gate's hallowed stage.

The sold-out musical explores the life and times of legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf, portrayed by singer and actress Camille O'Sullivan.
Piaf cast member Kate Gilmore took to Twitter to share a clip of what she described as 'an unbelievably special moment'.
What an unbelievably special moment. Tonight we were evacuated from @GateTheatreDub after a fire alarm went off during the interval of #Piaf and this was the result. Shared by the fab @raobyrne pic.twitter.com/stDLjZIOE8
