On Sunday January 15th, RTÉ Radio 1 presenters Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Philip King reflected on the life and work of the musician Séamus Begley.
On Folk on One, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, who called Séamus' voice 'the sweetest voice I ever heard' was joined by musicians Sharon Shannon, Jim Murray and Donogh Hennessy to remember their friend and his contribution to Irish music, and to play some of that music they shared. Listen below:
