This Cork event is an eclectic musical festival with a big heart, which aims to shine a light on the new wave of Irish and International folk, traditional, and experimental talent that are quietly forging new paths, recollecting old tales, and creating new stories - must-sees include an appearance from the mighty Martin Hayes. OPERA: DON PASQUALE

Donizetti's effervescent comic masterpiece is a witty, high-spirited, intergenerational tug of war about love and money — young love and old money, whipped up by lots of deceit. MUSIC: THE FIDELIO TRIO WINTER CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL

Now in its tenth year, this much-loved three-day event returns to Dublin for shows at Belvedere House, St Patrick's Campus, Dublin City University and the National Botanic Gardens from 25th - 27th November, with a series of concerts that will transport audiences from nineteenth-century Vienna to the present day.
