The countdown has begun to the 2022 RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, celebrating the best in Irish folk music over the past year - read the shortlist here.
John Creedon will return to Dublin's Vicar Street on Thursday, 17 November, to present the awards ceremony in front of a live audience, with performances from an array of Irish folk talent - tune in live on RTÉ Radio 1 from 8 pm, or watch highlights from the ceremony on RTÉ One on Saturday, November 19th at 10.25 pm.
