Fresh from the success of his TV adaptation of Conversations With Friends, director Lenny Abrahamson tells Dearbhail McDonald about his latest project - a screening of his Oscar-winning film Room at the NCH Dublin, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra performing Stephen Rennicks' score live. Adapted by Emma Donoghue from her own best-selling novel, Room is a moving tale of captivity and freedom featuring acclaimed performances by Brie Larson (who won the Academy Award for Best Actress) and Jacob Tremblay.
The world première of Room with live score performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, will feature an introduction by the director, followed by Abrahamson, composer Stephen Rennicks and novelist/adaptor Emma Donoghue in conversation with RTÉ's John Kelly.
