E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial remains a watershed in moviemaking, a highpoint in Spielberg's unparalleled career and one of the most beloved motion pictures of all time. Later this year, the movie will return to cinemas worldwide in the IMAX format alongside another Spielberg classic, Jaws.
