Lucky stars: Emma Thompson & Daryl McCormack talk to RTÉ Arena

Acting legend Emma Thompson and up-and-coming Irish actor Daryl McCormack discuss their new film, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande with RTÉ Arena - listen above.

Directed by Sophie Hyde (Animals) and written by comic Katy Grand, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande sees retired widow Nancy Stokes (Thompson) hiring a handsome young sex worker (McCormack) in the hope of enjoying a night of pleasure and self-discovery after an unfulfilling married life.

The duo talk to Arena's Sean Rocks about tackling taboos, why this very intimate two-hander had to be a movie, not a play - and keeping your Irish accent onscreen.

Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is in Irish cinemas from June 17th. Tune into to RTÉ Arena live nightly from Mon-Fri on RTÉ Radio 1 from 7 pm - or listen back here.
