Pistol is a new series about a rock and roll revolution - listen to RTÉ Arena's review above.
Based on guitarist Steve Jones' memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol, this is the story of a band of noisy, working-class kids with "no future," who shook the boring Establishment to its core, threatened to bring down the government and changed music and culture forever.
The six part mini-series is directed by Danny Boyle, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire, and has already been dismissed by Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon, AKA Johnny Rotten, who had no involvement with the project and has dismissed it as 'a pile of nonsense'.
All episodes of Pistol are now available to watch on Disney+. Tune into to RTÉ Arena live nightly from Mon-Fri on RTÉ Radio 1 from 7pm - or listen back here.
