Van Gogh Dublin – An Immersive Journey is a new digital art spectacle running at the RDS Dublin - enjoy a gallery of images above.
Utilizing artificial intelligence and advanced digital technology, this 20,000 square foot, this 360-degree multi-sensory experience surrounds the viewer in Vincent Van Gogh's most famous works.
Van Gogh's artworks and life are transformed through audio-visual storytelling, with digital interpretations of classic paintings and futuristic predictions of what could have been.
The show also includes a pair of accompanying presentations; Everything observes the familiar elements that construct our everyday lives, questioning all that is in existence and suggesting new possibilities, while Journey – A Photon’s Journey in the Eye travels through the layers of the eye, from the iris to the fractured lens, to the optic nerve and finally the neurons.
The exhibition also includes an Infinity Room, an immersive environment designed to give the illusion that the lights within it are trailing off into the abyss, continuing on forever into infinity. Ireland's Instagrammers will have a field day...
