In addition, RTÉ 2FM's Dave Treacy will deliver a workshop for aspiring DJ’s and BIMM Institute Dublin will host a song writing workshop, with more events to be announced.

There will also be performances by young musicians aged 12-19 from IYMA hubs, and attendees will also be able to visit the IYMAs marketplace which will feature hands-on demonstrations, giving attendees the opportunity to learn new skills around the creative and music industry with BIMM Institute Dublin,

Girls Rock Dublin, Music Maker and RTÉ 2FM all in attendance, with the latter broadcasting live from the event.

IYMAs Director, Barry Lennon stated "It’s great to be back returning to a real world National Event this year and it’s been a joy to see the energy and creativity from young people involved in our hubs across the entire island over the last few months. It’s vital we provide supports for young people like this and last year alone over 93% of young people involved in the programme said they developed creative ways to express themselves from their involvement in the IYMAs with 86% discovering further career and educational opportunities that they could pursue."

The IYMAs programme is an all-island youth music educational programme targeting teenagers aged twelve to nineteen in youth clubs and projects across Ireland. It provides teenagers engaged in the programme with personal development, employability skills, career and educational support via creative hands-on music-based education which includes industry workshops, creative collaborative activity-based tasks, performance opportunities and college bursaries.

Tickets for the Irish Youth Music Awards national event are available now exclusively from the IYMA website - the event is an all ages, alcohol/drugs-free event.
