Garry Hynes is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Druid Theatre - one of Ireland's most prestigious theatre companies.

Originally hailing from Ballaghaderreen in Co. Roscommon, Hynes has been a leading light in Irish theatre for years, becoming the first woman to win a Tony Award for Director of a Play in 1998.
