Recorded live at the RTÉ Radio Centre, New Irish Recordings showcase both new writing and new orchestral arrangements from a trio of homegrown artists making music today that uniquely explores the Irishness of each - listen above.
Presented by Fiachna Ó'Braonáin, the show features music from The Lost Brothers, Karan Casey and Saileog Ní Cheannabháin & friends, playing new arrangements with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

The Lost Brothers, who hail from Meath and Tyrone respectively, perform songs from their most recent and acclaimed album After The Fire After The Rain - a release that garnered huge critical acclaim both at home and overseas; and saw them sell-out Vicar Street in Dublin and headline London's Union Chapel. The album also won the band new fans, including the legendary Iggy Pop.

Cork artist Karan Casey performs brand new music inspired by the women of revolution of 100 years ago, and composer and musician Saileog Ní Cheannabháin presents a new interpretation of traditional pieces with Ailbhe Nic Dhonncha and Pádraic Keane.
