FILM: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE
Following in the current vogue for horror reboots - think Halloween - the latest grisly riff on Tobe Hooper's southern classic posits itself as a direct sequel to the 1974 original. A pair of notable Irish thespians feature in key roles, namely Moe Dunford and Olwen Fouéré, the latter portraying original TCM survivor Sally Hardesty, and by the look of things, kicking serious ass. DANCE: MAN DOWN

Choreographed by Róisín Whelan, Man Down is a Covid-19 pandemic-inspired narrative dance work exploring the internal life of a troubled soul, featuring performers Matilda Maginnis, Eleanor Marsh, Michael McEvoy and Joshua Scott.
