This week's Tune Of The Week is Drinkin' Alone, the new single by Ryan Sheridan - listen above.
It's the latest single from his forthcoming Americana album, to be released worldwide in May 2022 - in Sheridan's words, it's 'a fun, upbeat, let-it-all-loose kinda song'.
On the album, Ryan explores a contemporary Americana songbook, rooted in folk, blues and country music. Having travelled extensively around the US as a teenager, he took the time afforded by lockdown to rediscover his love of American roots music.
Ryan Sheridan will be appearing on the all-star bill at the outdoor New Years Eve concert at Dublin Castle, to be broadcast live on RTÉ.
