In the Poetry Programme on Sunday 21st November, at 7 pm on RTÉ Radio 1, Olivia O'Leary’s guests are poets Tony Curtis and David Butler - listen above.

Tony Curtis was born in Dublin in 1955 and studied literature at the University of Essex and Trinity College, Dublin. He joins Olivia to read from his books Between the Tides and The Syncline, both published by Real Ireland and with photos by Liam Blake.

He also reads from his collection This Flight Tonight, published by The Occasional Press, about the transatlantic flight of Alcock and Brown which landed in Connemara in 1919.

David Butler is a novelist, poet and playwright. Doghouse Books brought out his first poetry collection, Via Crucis, in 2011, and in 2016 David received a Per Cent Literary Arts Commission to compose a poetry sequence for Blackrock Library.
