In the latest episode of Irish Traditional Music Archive's acclaimed Drawing from the Well series, award-winning accordion player Conor Connolly joined Alan Morrisroe in the ITMA Reading Room for a lively evening of discussion and live music - watch above.
The musicians, who hail from Galway and Mayo respectively, delved into the early recorded history of Irish traditional music and some of the accordion players which have been a source of inspiration and intrigue to Conor (awarded the TG4 Gradam Ceoil Ceoltóir Óg/Young Musician of the Year in 2019) along his own musical path.
