Luciano Visconti's Death In Venice was released in 1971. It starred Dirk Bogarde as the aging composer who becomes besotted by a young boy.
At an audition in Sweden, Visconti found the 15 year old Bjorn Andrésen.
Now co-directors Kristina Lindström and Kristian Petri have made a new documentary with the assistance of Bjorn, currently on release - they talk to RTÉ Arena above.
