For their 2021 event, the popular Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival has curated a special online edition, taking place on 27th and 28th March, with virtual contributions from writers and thinkers of note from across the globe, exploring the theme 'Of The Moment'.
The programme includes a new wave of debut authors Danielle McLaughlin, Raven Leilani, Una Mannion and Louise Kennedy, alongside established literary heavy-hitters like Zadie Smith, Maggie O'Farrell, Polly sampson, Max Porter and Billy O'Callaghan, as well as poetry events with the likes of Paula Meehan and Tishani Doshi and a session for children with Shane Hegarty.
In conversation, Professor Noam Chomksy will reflect on the uniqueness of this moment in human history, while renowned essayist Rebecca Solnit will address everything from the environment to feminism, and Joe Biden's biographer Evan Osnos will offer insights into why he believes that this President is well equipped to address this particular moment in the USA.
