We Are All Birds Of Uganda is the debut novel from Hafsa Zayyan. She is the winner of the inaugural Merky Books New Writers' Prize set up by Stormzy. The novel explores race, religion and cultural belonging from two very different perspectives. She talks to RTÉ Arena above.
