In the Poetry Programme this Sunday on RTÉ Radio 1, Kate Newmann is inspired by the Titanic, and we hear about a gorgeous book of poetry for children.

She joins presenter Olivia O'Leary to read from her last collection, Ask Me Next Saturday, published by Summer Palace Press, and to give a preview of her forthcoming, new collection, including poems reflecting life under lockdown and her father’s final months.

P is for Poetry is a new collection of poetry for children, published by O'Brien Press. Editor Seamus Cashman tells us all about it and he and young readers, Finn O’Donaill, Daisy Moorhouse and Florence Moorhouse, read poems by Moyra Donaldson, Terry McDonagh, Pat Ingoldsby and Julie O’Callaghan. There’s also a chance for five listeners to win a copy.
