What to watch, listen to and read this week, brought to you by RTÉ Culture...
FILM
While it seems that streaming platforms such as Netflix are having a quiet week when it comes to big film releases, IFI@Home, a film renting platform established by the Irish Film Institute, have a number of great options for the weekend. Their French Film Festival is still running until the end of this week, featuring a plethora of great movies such as À l'abordage, Those Who Work and #IAmHere, that will immerse you in French culture. If you are the type of person who loves a good documentary, then you will be excited to hear that I Am Greta, the documentary about Swedish teen climate activist, Greta Thunberg, is now streaming on the platform, or if Midsommar-like cult horror is more your cup of tea you will most likely enjoy The Other Lamb, a haunting folk horror from acclaimed director Małgorzata Szumowska.

This series details some of the lesser-known competitive activities, including cheese rolling, chilli eating, fantasy hair-styling, frog jumping and dog dancing, with the potential to leave you very inspired to take up a new hobby in the (fingers crossed) final stretch of this lockdown.
