Twilight Together: Portraits of Ireland at Home by Ruth Medjber
In March 2020 as Ireland went into lockdown, one photographer accustomed to travelling the world found an innovative way to make meaningful use of this time at home by taking window portraits of people in their homes, from the outside looking in. Each person that Ruth Medjber photographed during this period of time had their own story to tell, and she has since compiled them into a visually stunning and deeply moving book. Twilight Together is an important document of the times we are living in, painting a portrait of some of the most impactful moments of the pandemic, from musicians performing from their front rooms, neighbourhood bingo to open-air film screenings. Twilight Together: Portraits of Ireland at Home is available to purchase here.
