BOOKS

Twilight Together: Portraits of Ireland at Home by Ruth Medjber

In March 2020 as Ireland went into lockdown, one photographer accustomed to travelling the world found an innovative way to make meaningful use of this time at home by taking window portraits of people in their homes, from the outside looking in. Each person that Ruth Medjber photographed during this period of time had their own story to tell, and she has since compiled them into a visually stunning and deeply moving book. Twilight Together is an important document of the times we are living in, painting a portrait of some of the most impactful moments of the pandemic, from musicians performing from their front rooms, neighbourhood bingo to open-air film screenings. Twilight Together: Portraits of Ireland at Home is available to purchase here

MUSIC

Mango X MathMan - Casual (Remix)

Celebrating the one year anniversary of their debut album Casual Work, Mango X MathMan teamed up with some of the best producers in Ireland to create a brand new EP of remixed songs from the album. The remixes will surely leave listeners longing for spilled drinks, loud music and sweaty dancefloors.

April - Luna

21-year-old bedroom-pop artist April has recently released her new EP, Luna. The Kildare singer-songwriter takes a more experimental approach here than with her debut release, New Conditions; the album's closing track Would You Let Me In is produced by Kojaque, a big deal on the Irish rap scene at the moment.
