Hubie Halloween

Netflix's latest release is a perfect family watch, offering silliness with a (not too scary) spook factor. Adam Sandler stars as scaredy-cat Hubie Dubois, who volunteers to watch over his hometown on Halloween, ensuring that everyone stays safe while they trick-or-treat. The Haunting of Bly Manor

One for the grown-ups, The Haunting of Bly Manor serves as a sequel of sorts to Netflix’s 2018 popular show, The Haunting of Hill House, without actually requiring the viewer to have watched the previous series. It's heavily inspired by the works of American author Henry James, primarily his horror novella, The Turn of the Screw, and follows an au pair looking after two orphaned children in an eerie, haunted mansion.

Ratched

From the creators of American Horror Story, Ratched provides the backstory to a character best known from the 1975 film based upon Ken Kesey’s novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Not for the faint of heart (and definitely not for children), this one features enough blood and gore to get you into the Halloween spirit.

Corpse Bride is the perfected animated film to get children and adults alike excited for the Halloween season, as Victor (voiced by Johnny Depp) is sucked into the underworld the night before his wedding by a corpse bride (Helena Bonham Carter) who wishes to have him all to herself. This Tim Burton classic is a perfect companion piece to his other seasonal stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas...
