This year on Culture Night, Outlandish Theatre Platform are launching film portraits of five inspiring women who have made extraordinary contributions to radical social change and gender equality.
Each Women on Women award winner introduces her work and vision in a location of importance, in film portraits made with filmmaker Jeda de Brí.
A nationwide call for the WoW Awards led to over fifty nominations of women who are fighters for gender equality and social justice. The WoW awardees 2020 are Caoimhe Butterly, Catherine Joyce, Éadaoin Kelly, Marie Mulholland and Mavis Ramazani.
Women on Women is co-funded by the Creative Europe of the European Union. WoW Ireland is also kindly supported by the Arts Council, Dublin City Arts Office and Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
