Men's health charity Movember have launched a free online tool, Movember Conversations, to equip people with the skills to navigate difficult conversations with loved ones
In a campaign to highlight the issue, and encourage meaningful conversation, Movember and creative agency Huskies paired some of Ireland's most notable cultural figures, artists and writers - including Sebastian Barry, Vivienne Roach, Gavin Friday and Mundy - to have a conversation about mental health and produce an artwork - watch a gallery above.
Eight out of 10 (84 per cent) of men find it helpful when people ask if they’re having a difficult time - yet nearly half (45 per cent) say no one has checked to find out how they are coping during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to research conducted by Movember.

The series of seven artworks were then projected onto landmark buildings around Dublin to demonstrate the value of conversation and to spark often ignored conversations about mental health.
Neil Rooney of Movember Ireland said: "Our research shows that men are hungry for connection and are in need of support and social cohesion in these trying times.'
'We know that men can feel uncomfortable or vulnerable discussing their mental health. Checking in on friends and loved ones can make all the difference and literally save lives.’
