For this year's Fête de la Musique, or World Music Day, 25 orchestras, representing the public broadcasters of Europe, collaborated on a unique virtual recording of Charpentier's Te Deum - watch above.
The well-known piece has been popularised across generations from its use as the signature of the Eurovision Song Contest, and now, for the first time, the European Broadcasting Union has brought these national ensembles together to play the piece in a way its never been performed before - truly, united in music.
