The Culture File Debate gathers together a laptop-full of voices to help us think about the new shape of culture in a post-Covid world - listen to the first episode above.

Each month, in a special edition of The Culture Fille Weekly on RTE lyric fm, a panel of writers and critics, musician and composers, makers and doers, will convene to discuss everything from the future of orchestras and the meaning of live performance, to new roles for critics and identity politics in traditional music.

This Friday, 17 April, The Culture File Debate is subtitled Everyone's A Critic.

Host Luke Clancy, far right, chairs The Culture File Debate

Hosted by Culture File's Luke Clancy, the panel of guests features Irish Times music writer, Michael Dervan; chef, writer and food critic, Sophie White; music journalist and Choice Prize judge, Andrea Cleary; and TCD academic and blogger, Jennifer O'Meara, all gathered to discuss the new spaces and roles for the critic online and off.
