In the latest episode of the new series of The Works Presents on RTÉ One, presenter John Kelly talks to acclaimed performer Lisa Dwan.
Lisa Dwan began her career as a ballet dancer dancing with the famed Rudolf Nureyev at 12 years of age, before moving into acting in her teens. She is best known for adaptations for the work of playwright Samuel Beckett, and has been described as the 'foremost inheritor' of the power of his prose.

Her perfomances in the Walter Asmus-directed Beckett trilogy, which united Footfalls, Rockaby and Not I received widespread critical acclaim. Along with her theatre performances, she has made numerous screen appearances, including recent roles in Netlfix's Top Boy and FX’s Trust.
Recently seen on the Irish stage in Colm Toibin's Pale Sister, Lisa has also held artist residencies at MIT and Columbia University.
