Win tickets to see Ennio Morricone live in Dublin

The world's greatest living movie composer is coming back to Ireland, to Dublin's 3Arena on February 15th 2019, to celebrate six decades spent composing some of the big screen's most iconic themes - and we've got tickets to give away!

Maestro Ennio Morricone has composed over 500 scores for cinema and television as well as over 100 absolute music works - iconic film scores, including Once Upon a Time in the West, Once Upon a Time in America, The Untouchables, Cinema Paradiso, The Thing and The Mission - and let's not forget the greatest western theme tune of all time, from The Good, The Bad & The Ugly...

In 2015, Morricone composed the score for Quentin Tarantino’s latest film The Hateful Eight, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Original Score, his sixth BAFTA Award for Best Film Music, and his third Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score.

Discussing his current tour, Morricone said: "I feel privileged and excited to celebrate my 90th birthday in such a great state of health. It is a blessing to still be conducting my concerts in all the beautiful European cities and I am grateful for the generosity that my audiences continue to show".

The Dublin concert will be performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by local choirs. Maestro Morricone will personally conduct the orchestra and choir of more than 200 people on one stage.
