MUSIC IN THE CLASSROOM: MUSICAL ADVENTURES
Musical Adventures, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra’s fun concerts for children aged 8-12, opened the 2019 National Symphony Orchestra’s series of concerts for schools. Children were invited to take the adventure of a lifetime as, through the eyes of fantastic creatures, the orchestra explored the worlds of mystery and magic, of imagination and legend in music of drama and romance, energy and excitement, poetry and power drawn from the opera house, concert hall and cinema screen. The event included excerpts from The Magic Flute, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Firebird, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Jurassic Park. Watch the concert below...
