For her new track Rock The Machine, Lisa O'Neill offers a soulful lament for the traditional workforce in and around Dublin's seaport, their numbers eroded by economic vicissitudes and technological 'progress'.

It's a tour de force from one of Ireland's finest young folk talents.

The song features a number of veteran Dublin dockers: Declan Byrne, Alan Martin, Christy McDonnell, John ‘Miley’ Walsh, Paddy Daly, Mick Foran, Pat Behan and Paddy Nevins.

Rock The Machine is taken from Lisa's upcoming album. Heard A Long Gone Song, due October 19th; she launches the album with a show at Vicar Street, Dublin on October 29th.
