Works selected from the Arts Council Collection of almost 1,100 pieces of modern and contemporary Irish art were displayed during the evening; these artworks celebrate the Arts Council’s long history of purchasing noteworthy artworks reflecting the diverse practise of artists working in Ireland today, and sharing excellent contemporary art with audiences across Ireland.
Artists featured include Amanda Coogan, Diana Copperwhite, Willie Doherty, Damien Flood, Siobhán Hapaska, Barbara Knezevic, Clare Langan, Mairead O'hEocha, Tony O'Malley and more.
