The English National Ballet will open this year's Dublin Dance Festival with their production of Giselle, the first full-length ballet choreographed and directed by celebrated dancer Akram Khan.

It's the first time in over 50 years that the English National Ballet have performed in Ireland, and they will bring a 40 strong cast to perform this acclaimed reimagining of the classic ballet, which features stunning costumes and set from Academy-Award winning designer Tim Yip (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

In the first in a series of behind-the-scenes glimpses at Akram Khan's Giselle, we follow the journey from conception of this re-imagined version of the classical ballet through to its world premiere in Manchester.
