They were the soundtrack to peoples lives and RTÉ 2FM's Tracy Clifford met Mark, Gary and Howard in Cardiff ahead of their new musical The Band, coming to Dublin in November.

"To have history with your audience is a brilliant thing... this show is a celebration of the audience... it's not just about us".

Gary tells Tracy in the interview that their songs are inspired by their concerts, Mark tells Tracy that he can't grow a beard like Howard, and they talk about gravy and chips and golden milk!

"We're so sad in our house, that my wife goes 'is it golden milk time yet?', 'I said it's only a quarter to eight! Ya can't have it til half nine!'"

The Band comes to Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre this November - details here.
