2018 is shaping up to be a big year for author Louise O'Neill, with not one but two new books scheduled for release.

Acclaimed for her YA novels Only Ever Yours and Asking For It, Louise's first 'adult' novel Almost Love (due in March) has been winning advance raves from the likes of Marian Keyes, who has described it as 'a bold, uncompromising depiction of obsessive love'. Then she'll return to her YA roots in May with The Surface Breaks, described as a bold, feminist retelling of the classic fairytale The Little Mermaid.

In the latest episode of RTÉ 2FM podcast No Filter, she chats to Louise McSharry about the challenges of dating when you are one of the faces of Irish Feminism, how she has coped with being recognised and how she is feeling in the aftermath of the #MeToo revelations.
