Lisa Hannigan and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra opened the Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival in style on Thursday night - you can watch the performance in full below:

The performance features a very special guest appearance by The National's Aaron Dessner.

Also performing across the weekend are Bon Iver, The National, Crash Ensemble, Iarla O’Lionaird and Steve Cooney, Fionn Regan, Peter Broderick, Amiina, Wyvern Lingo, Saint Sister, Slow Moving Clouds, This is How We Fly and Ye Vagabonds.

The Sounds from A Safe Harbour Festival debuted in Cork in 2015 and is co-curated by Mary Hickson and The National’s Bryce Dessner. The festival runs from September 14 to 17 - more information here.
