The first teaser has been released for RTÉ's latest drama contender, Striking Out - it'll play to audiences during tonight's Late Late Toy Show. Watch it below:
Striking Out follows the tumultuous professional and personal life of Dublin-based solicitor, Tara Rafferty (Amy Huberman), and her fledgling legal firm. When Tara discovers, on her hen night, that her fiancé and fellow solicitor Eric Dunbar (Rory Keenan) has been cheating on her with a colleague, she breaks up with him, quits her job at the prestigious law firm they worked at together, and sets about making her own way in a new life outside the inner circle of the legal profession.
Also starring veteran British actor Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly), Fiona O’Shaughnessy (Utopia) and Emmet Byrne. Striking Out is produced for RTÉ by Blinder Films, the Irish production house most recently responsible for Panti documentary The Queen Of Ireland and Whit Stillman's acclaimed film Live & Friendship, a Top Ten US box-office hit this summer.
